Annual report 2019–2020

Using the metaphor of a home an annual report was created for the Yaqeen Institute of Islamic Research to showcase the impact donors had made during the year 2019-2020. The book became a house with windows on the cover, and the back of the building as the back cover. As you open the annual report you are greeted with a set of doors and as you "open the doors" Yaqeen invites you in, using the double-gate fold spread. This exposes a spread of four pages with a colourful grid of testimonials. You then flip the pages to journey into each of the "rooms" that have their own double-page spread that showcase the colour-coded departments of the organization. Finally you arrive at the financial spread that shows the donor powering the entire house.
